The original church was founded January 1, 1849. The original denomination was the Evangelical United Brethren. In 1968 the Evangelical United Brethren merged with the area United Methodist Church and become the Perrysville United Methodist Church. The church recently voted to disaffiliate from the United Methodist denomination. As of July 1 2023 we became an independent church known as Perrysville Church.
